It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I don't know, but it seems like DRM residue that wasn't fully cleaned from my copy as evidenced by this pic...It shows that the setup files are still using the regserver program...But the entire setup stops here, it is only when I terminate the process that my setup is finished, yet not complete!

I have not seen anything in the forum having the same issue as I, or it's not a commonality when installing for some, whatever the case I am unable to play this game as it won't even install, BTW I did re-download the setup files, and both browser/old gog dl tooled it...No luck, am I alone in this?

Doesn't regsvr32.exe add programs to the registry? I don't think it has anything to do with DRM.

Epic self-facepalm!

...Yeah, I guess you're right...Boy do I feel silly....

Anyway, that does shed some light on a possible solution..

NEW EDIT:

Well, I checked to see if it was my firewall/antivirus that was blocking a component, and still I'm currently stuck with the regsvr32 dead in the water, not even CPU activity is shown, looks like I'm gonna have to completely rid myself of this game as it's taking up too much HDD space...

And seeing as the majority of users aren't having the same issue it looks like this won't be resolved unless I buy Steam's HD version...Which will never happen.

BTW, for the record and my own pride the program is listed as "Microsoft Register Server." in the process description, so I don't feel too silly..
