I see it is in development but also that it was already released months ago.

What changes are still in development then? Details or whole features?

I am trying to figure out if I should wait or buy it now.

Also, is it like Rebel Galaxy combined with say Star Flight?

So the main story is still in development. Although there is still a decent chunk.

There are definitely a few features still to be implemented, but again, the game itself is still very solid and has a lot of polish for what is there.

It's kind of like Rebel Galaxy meets Freelancer with a touch of Star Wolves.

Should you buy it now or wait?

I probably put about 20 - 30 hours into it as it stands and have loved every minute, despite the fact it still isn't complete. I'm biased somehwat though, since I love this genre of game.

If you've previously played with in development games and know that they're ongoing and don't mind, buy it. If you're looking for a fully complete game, don't buy it.

I would definitly suggest for anyone to buy this game.
After playing for an hour, I fell in love with the game.

I played for appr. 10 hours now and reached the current point where no story content has been developed so far. But until now I had a lot of fun!

It definately feels like Rebel Galaxy but with a more serious touch to it. Minor issues put aside, it's a well developed game with no bugs so far. I can't wait for the rest of the story (which was more interesting than I initially thought and definately more interesting than the story of Rebel Galaxy).

Any update on this?

Devs put up a major Beta patch adding in a new story chapter last month.

I'm chomping at the bit to play this (bought it immediately on release as I absolutely LOVE this type of game - give me an RPG where my "character" is a ship and I'm 100% in ;) Stats, crew, stations to man, equipment upgrades and I'm drooling).

But I swore it was one I'd wait until it actually releases to play - the early buy was just to get these guys some money so they know their work / game is appreciated and viable.

Yeah, same here.

The game is overall pretty solid. My only complaint is they claim controller support however, the game is completely unplayable with a controller currently due to the fact you can't aim your weapons with anything besides the mouse.

What I'm seeing is making me drool! Unfortunately it sounds like one of those early abcess cases where it'll be years before it's actually done. If the devs make it to that finish line, I will love playing this!
