hello, I think i have found a bug in this game
on ground level
Mrs. PIERMONT will not sponsor me.. I cannot proceed with game. i have read perhaps 5 different walk though texts from differer sources, they ALL say she must sponsor me.. Ive restarted the game 8 times,, SHE WONT SPONSOR ME.
All she says is "no and that i could be a terrorist" then walks off..
I have talked with EVERYONE on ground level exhausting every possible conversation with each person, so there is nothing else i can do other then press the intercom button and wait for no response.. I Keep trying to get her to sponsor me, but she just keeps saying no and walks off...... this is a joke a dam joke.. this MUST BE A BUG

im quite pissed off with this to be honest

what makes it worse is i cant get ANY HELP from anywhere,

Actually.. Im just reading this forum and see that many other people have reported bugs with no solutions what so ever.. this leads me to the conclusion the bug I ran into is also not fixable... Im also seeing according to this forum that there is little chance of any support from GOG themselves in terms of bug fixes, so my next and last question is, .. is there another format other then the GOG version I can play but also includes the voices. I am itching to play this game and I know I can emulate an Amiga version but it dosent have the speech.

Dose anyone know where i Can play the voice speech version of BASS other than GOG?

Any help, advice or suggestions would be great

for her to sponsor you she have to make a phone call from her house to call the doorman on the private club...

I completed this game just last week and didn't run into that problem, a co-worker is also playing and she got sponsored just fine. Must be someone you need to talk to first to activate her to sponsor you.

SPOILERS

When I spoke to her it gave me the option to talk to her about how Overmann was the main character's father which made her trust him enough to not think of him as just a terrorist. If you're getting no more options when talking to her it may be that you haven't yet found out that Overmann is your father which I beleive you find out by decrypting and looking through the documents on Reichs ID card. You get the documents via the special Linc-Space cyberworld then use a standard Linc Terminal with Reich's ID card to read the decrypted documents. You can go back up to higher levels/platforms using the elevators so if you missed that part you can still do it. Try looking back a few steps in a walkthrough for things you may have missed regarding the whole Linc system stuff.
