I can't find the damn diagram that is supposed to be north of the mechanic in Witherberg. It's simply not shown.

Playing with version 1.055 Linux on Linux Mint 19.3.

It should be on the scrap pile a few feet from him. (See screenshot attached).

Well, it isn't as you can see on my screenshot. Meanwhile I played through the Windows version and there are quite a few difference. And this diagram is not the only one missing. There are several 'marker' missing in the Linux version. Also the characters don't comment the surroundings as in the Windows version.

Hey VP - Unfortunately the game is only reliability tested on Ubuntu (AMD and Intel) as this is about the extent of my personal Linux knowledge and testing setups. I worked with the Linux community and we tested it on Ubuntu, I believe Arch is fully tested. I know seveal played on Mint but I cant vouch for that.

Can you try:

command line arguments:

MESA_VK_WSI_PRESENT_MODE=fifo %command% -force-vulkan

Ok, I'm not a Linux-pro. I copied that line into the start.sh file at the very end and started the game. I saw no difference.
I have the same issues. Most markers are missing, the diagram is missing and so on.

Hi there Eckhard,

I wasnt able to reproduce this one on my test setup.
Can you try with WINE?
Hi,

I also have this issue. Running on Ubuntu 22.04 with NVIDIA GTX 1650 (driver version 510.73.05).
The command line arguments did not help here.

I tried the Windows version with Wine - it showed all those diagrams (and a lot more) that do not show up on Linux. But unfortunately, the cut scenes are not playing with Wine, so this is not really an alternative.

Would be nice if that could be fixed...

EDIT: setting the video codec to "Unity HD" in the Video Settings (as explained in the "Windows x64 - Problems and Solutions" post in this forum) makes the cut scenes play in Wine - so, this is actually a viable work-around.

Thanks JD - I think Wine would need the media foundation codecs to work by default. The game tries to detect LINUX and use Unity Native, but Wine would detect as Winodws but sans the codec.
Hello, I also have this bug and I expect the developers to update the linux version from 1.0.5.5 to 1.0.7.3. Thank you.

I run standard english translation on a standard Ubuntu 18.4.6 LTS and the Codex Pages do not show in general which makes it impossible to finish the first puzzle to get the core from the space lab.

My HW is
Ryzen1800X
MSI X370 Titanium
64GB GSkill 3200Mhz RAM
Radeon RX560 4GB

I've checked and 1.0.5.5 is the latst Linux build - matched to the Steam branch.
Can you try the game with force-vulkan in the command line?
