I'm seeing that on Steam the game version is 1.311 and on GOG is 1.23 are they the same version? Is the discrepancy in numbers just a platform difference?

Stargx: Yes, the builds are the same. Just a few Steam specific tweaks.
What ? Beat hazard 2 on GOG is older build than steam. How steam and gog builds can be the same when steam one had 16 languages and gog version has only 9 ?

For example danish language was added in version "V1.192 Update" and until now it's not available on GOG ?

My question is WHY people which paid on GOG getting completly different product than steam ?
