The fact, that the BattleTech Mercenary Collection is currently (during the GOG sale) sold for significantly less (21,59 €) than the BattleTech Season Pass (25.05 €) puzzles me, with the former containing of the main game and all the DLCs and the latter of all the DLCs, seems quite unreasonable and also unfair to the former crowdfunding backers of BattleTech (who consider purchasing the DLCs).

I assume, that the pricing of all the BattleTech products on GOG is set up/managed by Paradox Interactive, who have been subjected to a lot of criticism for their poor marketing (e.g. The Lamplighters League), releasing unfinished products (e.g. Cities Skylines 2), high number of (small) DLCs outsourced from the main game to increase profits (e.g. Stellaris), etc. in recent years, and I do not find the pricing plausible but rather deceptive for potential customers.

This summer sale it is the same. I have the Digital Deluxe version and the Mercenary Edition including the Season Pass is cheaper than the Season Pass DLC for those who already bought the normal game or the Digital Deluxe edition.
