Since this game is on sale, can you recommend it? It seems like this title is buggy.

Yes, I do reccomend Armada 2 (on sale). The game was patched nicely, though the GOG version may cause problems for some people (ie. skirmishes causing crashes) - it's not a global problem. The story is very good, but the gameplay is inferior to Armada 1 in my opinion. The ships customization known from the first game was totally cut out. There are no crew points nor ship ugrades instead there are fleet upgrades, that affects all units. That means we can't create specialized ships utilizing uncommon tactics to suprise opponents.
