I have the same question. I've gone into Options and hit Player, but the two are stuck on Human and Human. I've tried hitting Enter, Space, Enter + Up/Down/Right/Left, and various other keys (including Ctrl and x/d/c/v, the player 2 keys), but I can't figure it out.

This is on the original Battle Isle, by the way.

Also, what does the "First" option do? It looks like name entry, but whenever I change it and press Enter, it changes back to First.

EDIT: I have the same issue with Battle Isle: The Desert. However, Battle Isle: The Moon and Historyline default to Human/Computer and changes between Human and Computer when you press Enter on Computer.

been ages since i played it as far as i can remember you have to put in a map code "Conra" for the first one that was on the amiga i think PC may be the same
hope this helps

Aha! You're right. Thanks! So the first option in Options is map selection, then.

EDIT: For Battle Isle: The Desert, the code for the first VS Computer map is "BLOCK". It's necessary to enter this instead of CLOCK to play against the computer in that expansion.
