Hello!
Just picked up all the Battle Isle games here, and wanted to replay Battle Isle 2, of which I own the original CD-ROM version. Loved to play this in the 90's. But I stopped, and now I remember why.
It's the limit on number of turns. God I hate it. Completely demotivating for me. I really dislike time limits... in absolutely all types of games.
So, is there a way / patch / hack to just remove it? Couldn't find anything on the web. This really is the one thing I absolutely can't stand about the game and that's making we want to just stop playing.
If there is some way to do it, a way that the game's cheat detection won't detect, I'd be very happy to hear about it! If necessary, I am okay with things like hex edits.
