OK, I'm dumb! Any help explaining the parts of the attached image will be appreciated! For example, what do the two yellow bars behind Sgt. Bratt indicate. And what about the three yellow bars in front of his feet mean? Am I correct in that the 10/11 are his current and max hit points? And the 6 is his mental state (I know when it goes to 0 he panics). Any corrections and/or additional info will be greatly appreciated!

Hey there!
The bars in front and behind represent your armor level for your frontal and back. They depend of the type of armor your soldiers have equipped, more bars more resistance you have in that part.

For example, with the image you posted Bratt has more resistance in his frontal part, so if he is going to receive some fire from the enemy you could change the facing to take advantage of this and have a better chance of receive reduced damage or even no damage at all.
Just take in account, you’ll still lose morale even if you don’t suffer any damage.

The rest you said is correct.

P.S: Uops, I didn’t noticed the date of the message, I hope my answer is still useful.
