Hi All, when I load up Battle Isle 1 (Desert & Moon) the controls are constantly on the last option and even though I can use the up and down arrows or a joystick to try and select other options, the focus always jumps to the bottom again and it is too fast for me to do anything :(

It is like the down arrow key or joystick stick being pulled downward constantly.

All other Battle Isle versions work fine and as expected.

Did you deactivate your gamepad ?

Thanks for the reply, no, with and without my gamepad connected the selector on the main menu screen is stuck on the exit option :(

This happened to me. I went into the battle isle directory
and found the dos box config file. This was dosboxBI1 conf.
I edited this file and changed joysticktype=auto to
joysticktype=none and the problem went away.

There is a file like this in each of the BI folders.
