Hi,
1. is there a way to skip the annoying intros in the beginning.
I know you can skip the video by pressing esc but then the Logo takes forever until you get to the menu.

2. How do I get a better resolution in the game as my windows are all very small and you cant make the bigger?

3rd question would be regarding keyboard. In BI2 you could navigate with keyboard. BI3 seems to only accept my mouse.
Is there a workaround?

4. How do I restart a campaign mission if I dont want to use a savegame? (If I load a map with the level code I dont know if the campaign will continue)

1. After fiddling around a bit, I found a working solution:

1) Locate the games video folder. Should be something like \GOG Galaxy\Games\Battle Isle 3\SDI\DATA\AVI

2) There you find all the vids used inside the game. The important avis are :
api900.avi (almost empty placeholder avi!)

api980.avi (Intro)
api981.avi (intro2)
api982.avi (intro3)
api997.avi (outro)

instead of just deleating the movies, which would lead to error messages on end, we simply REPLACE any unwanted movies with the empty one.
example: rename the 980.api into 980.old or whatever you like.
Create a copy of the 900.avi and name it api980.avi and place it into the folder with the rest.

Do it accordingly for every video you want to get rid off.

That should lead to 0.5 seconds long intro/outro movies and no error message. :) have fun!

2. The resolution can´t be changed really. You will have to change your DESKTOP-resolution to lets say 1024*768 to enjoy fullscreen. Sorry, it´s an old game from win 3.1..

3. no workaround. they made these kind of clunky controls because at that time they felt like "the future". and clunky. right click on the map lets you scroll around, though, you get used to it.

4. level code or savegame. nothing else. with level code you will lose your experienced units. But that happens a lot late game because of shi**y level design with enemy units spawning right next or behind your frontline. save early, save often.
