Started playing Battle Isle 3 today. Enjoying it, even if the actual battle screen is tiny even at its biggest. But when I end turn, I'm not getting to view the enemy turn. Is there a way to switch it so that I can actually witness the enemy turn (and thus not have to carefully examine every unit wondering who was damaged) or did Blue Byte remove that feature from 3, even though 2 let you?

I can be wrong, because I´ve played BI3 in the 90´s. But I remember, that it was intended not to see the enemy turn.
Huh... well I've got to admit that that little tidbit has drained my enthusiasm a fair amount. I'll still play the game, but it really rubs me the wrong way having enemy movement hidden, even whilst the guy in front of my Golem is whittling away with his bazooka. I've since found the menu that tells me which units were destroyed and where they were stood at the time, but there's nothing saying 'this unit took damage'. That I've found at least.

Well, thanks for telling me, even if it wasn't what I was hoping to hear.
You´re not alone.

It´s really not a good idea, not to show the enemy move. But it´s a good game though.
While you can't see the actual ennemy turn, you can enable to replay the battle scenes if I remember correctly
