Hi.

Quick question. On a number of missions (including the first) I play through and successfully complete it, only to find that the game restarts the mission and forces me to replay it again. This isn't a problem on the 1st level but I had issues a while back on one of the later, more difficult msisions, and it kept making me play it over and over again - the mission where you start with a dock and runway and the enemy mass assault you with tanks. My HD since died and I lost the save anyway so I can't name it.

Can anyone advise? I get the feeling I'm not completing the mission fast enough, or failing to complete some unnamed objective, but there is nothing to indicate what I should do so I am at a loss and I get sick to death of replaying the same mission over and over.

same problem here. i can't finish the second mission. i destroyed the enemy and took his buildings then the screen popped up where it says that i was successfull... then the mission restarts....

Same problem here on mission 2. One thing I would suggest and I'll try this myself later. Save the game just BEFORE you finish off the last unit and then destroy it. Then complete the mission and reload your save game IF it doesn't move onto the next mission, keep repeating loading your save game until it does. Can't think of anything else to do. I thought this game was patched....

Yep, same prob in mission 5 (I think). It's not that hard to win but I want the game to progress and not play one mission only.

Yes I'm encountering this problem presently on mission 2 as well. I'm going to try a few things, like killing 100% of the enemy or perhaps just some repetition as you mentioned.

Well just a quick update regarding the 2nd mission restart bug with Battle Isle 2.

Every time I captured the final town, then killed the last enemy infantry unit it restarted.

This time I decided not to capture both towns, and just killed all the enemy infantry and now the campaign has progressed. Not sure if this helps anyone.

Is there a solution to this problem by now?
I just bought Battle Isle Platinum, and i just can't finish any missions except the first one.
I managed to find a website with the map-codes, but if I use them I miss the briefings.
Save and reload and replaying the maps again and again didn't help.
If there is a solution, I'd be glad to know.

Same problem here, mission 2 just keeps restarting.

Edit: Apparently, not capturing any cities DOES allow me to continue.

I have the fix for your problem. The game seems to be starte in single map mode.
Go to Menu \ New Campaign \ Start

The problem should not occur anymore
