Hey everyone,

My game runs fine for the most part, I was able to beat the game, but every so often my audio would cut out or stutter/crack. I have no idea what was causing this, and I've made sure to set the game's frame rate to match my display's refresh rate and edit my game settings with neatodev's advanced launcher. My game performs great overall.

But my audio will crap out all the same. It's frequent but unpredictable, sometimes it'll happen when I'm changing rooms, sometimes it'll happen during a cutscene or when I'm listening to an interview tape... and it'll happen when I'm just wandering around the Asylum. There seems to be no pattern.

Is there any known fix for this issue? I don't think it's my hardware, but I know the game's infamously unoptimized.

My specs:

RX 580
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
16GB RAM

Please help! This is one of my favorite games ever made (along with Arkham City, which I haven't tried out yet) and I just want it to run perfectly.

It seems that other people have the same problem as well. Maybe have a look at the links below. They might provide a solution.

Hey! Thanks for the reply, I think I solved the problem. Switched to wired headphones instead of bluetooth ones and the audio issues stopped. My guess as to what caused the issue is the game doesn't play nice with bluetooth connections or certain audio settings. Since I have to use a USB bluetooth dongle for my headphones, Arkham Asylum might've taken offense to that.

Super, super odd. But I fixed it! Hopefully it stays fixed for my second playthrough.
I'm glad that you fixed it and thanks for posting your solution in case someone else has a similar problem.
