- like in most game of this type, a campfire teleport from scratch would be nice.
Backtracking is not fun :)

=> ok it gets available later though :)

-More detailled map. Each cell could show if the exit if side (top / middle / down) or up/down (left / middle / right)

-save on game exit, please
saving only at campfire is restricting, i'd like to be able to play for a short session, or leave when i want.
This kind a game fits exactly this kind of need.

All of that aside, nice game, but i'm still at the beginning.

Hey, thanks for the feeback! Yeah we try to give the teleport option pretty early to avoid too much backtracking for sure :) There are checkpoints in the game btw, usually once every few rooms. There is a saving animation that plays in the lower right of the screen when a checkpoint is reached, so those can always be used as stopping points as well!

We are planning a quality of life update to release soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that! Thanks for playing the game! :)

i realize i post suggestions, when these suggestions are already here :)
which means, i post before playing enough, my apologies.

The more detailled map looks like the only good suggestion. And maybe a mini in game documentation :)

teleport, checkpoints which seems to be numerous enough, it just takes time to realize what the save icon was.
