Hello,
i just bought the game, i explored all i could, so i found 2 campfire,
there is something not accessible from the topmost campfire, but i see a connection on the map.

More on the left, i have a green case on the map, with a locked door, lever on the other side.
More on the bottom right, map cases are brown, last cell, there is lava, invincible tentacles, and locked door.

No way to go through this, no hint (the lore text ?? i don't find any hint)
I watched a demo walkthrough, the were some red portals the 1st time the guy entered a map cell, that are not present for me.

Anyway, there is something wrong for a game to prevent progression from the beginning without any clear hint.

Hey there, thanks for playing the game! :)
When you got to the 2nd campfire, there should have been a short cutscene that showed something digging through the level. This might be a little too subtle, but that opened a new pathway in the neighboring room.

oh, i remember the cutscene, it was not subtle :)
i had not realized i had to backtrack one case, then go down, then take the new tunnel. under the campfire.

I think the map is too retro and simple. Maybe a more detailled map like in rogue legacy.
Which indicates if the connection is right top, right bottom or right middle ?
