This game has a vibrant modding community with many new vehicles and tracks.

Unfortunately, it seems nobody bothers to release anything outside of Steam, which is a very worrying trend!

I hope I'm just bad at doing internet searches and missed something obvious, though...

EDIT: Ok, so you need another corporate account (Discord) to access a chat with modders and there they post links to another corporate (but free) site where you can get the mods... for example:

It's a bit worrying that nobody is creating fan pages or hosting files themselves anymore. Everything is corporate, and while corporate giveth, more often that not corporate taketh away (and enshittifies along the way).

My main gripe with people using Discord as a platform for distributing mods is that it is an awful platform for that. It is just not designed for indexing and finding content. I also hate the fact it is a silo.

To be honest, Enai's are pretty much the only good mods I have found - with some exceptions - so if you have his tracks and his ships, I feel you have 90% of the mods that matter.

If there is something else you'd like to see out of Steam maybe we could try to post it here so it would also be available for Gog users.
