I have some old backups of the BG1 saves I had on a previous machine. I have BG2 on GOG. The question is this:

What is the location that GOG's BG2 look for BG1 saves to import, so I can create the necessary folders and put my save in there?

If it is necessary to know (in case the path must be relative to BG2's), the exact path of the BG2 folder is:
C:/GOG Games/Baldur's Gate 2/

Blah. Naturally, the answer was as obvious as creating a fresh game and making a quicksave, which a friend suggested right after I posted this. Then moving the old save into place.

Aaaand... I see no way to erase my topic from existence, so I'll just say the issue has been resolved, this is the solution, and, uh... how can I close this?

Unfortunately you can't mark your own post as the answer, but you may mark any other post as the answer -- even if it isn't -- if you wish to mark it as so.
