How am I supposed to remember that!

Knowing me, I likely had Khalid, Jaheira, Imoen, Edwin, and Viconia.
Mine is the same as most - Charname as a fighter, Imoen, Jaheira, Khalid, Minsc, and Dynaheir.

Ended up grabbing Aerie and Keldorn in BG2, as well.
Its funny but until this thread I never reaslied how out of character my BG1 party was with my norm. In the gold box games I always had 2 pure mages and when I retried the infinity games I started with Icewind Dale and had 2 pure mages and a fighter/thief/mage. But in Baldurs Gate 1 I ended up having Imoen, Kivan, Ajantis, Jaheira and Khalid plus my character who dualed from fighter 6 to mage.. So no mage or crappy low level mage for most of it.

Service was restored in BG2 though, with my munchkin goddess (120hp and tensors transformation and a bunch of defensive spells for the win), Imoen dual classing as well and I had Aerie in that party making 3 mage spellcasters.
There was my human mage with Imoen, Jaheira, Khalid, Branwen and Yeslick. I think I could have had something stronger than that but decided to stick it out just to see if I could finish with my first toon & my uninformed choices. That final battle took a few attempts, Jaheira was lost on the way and the remaining five could not make it without her, so I reverted to the last save before she was killed and that plus heavy autopausing did the trick.

So, lots of healing, missile, spell and wand power. On the downside none of the fighters ever got above 17 strength (except temporarily by spell or potion) which meant they sometimes had to strip in order to be able to carry some of the heavier quest items (yes, I'm now aware there is a good strength item to be had, but that quest I turned down, my bad).
