HI Gog forum bg fans

Bought planescape from gog, the only infinity engine game i never got round to getting, love it, but was interested in playing BG again so i dug out my discs, Installed BG1 from the DVD in the 4 in 1 pack, then sword coast, my win 7 laptop doesnt always pick up the sword coast disc, so didnt check it worked after install, went to install BG2, SOA installed fine fromt he dvd, but TOB gets to 50% the cd is fine, but it wont go further, no ammount of running MS FixIt disc tool seems ot make it show up, now The Sword Coast disk doesnt show up. Was wondering if i bought BG2 complete, installed it, then told Easytutu were both folders were, my Bg1 and TofSC install, would it work with Easy tutu and also mean I wouldnt need any discs in drive as BG2 would be the gog digital version, I have full installed BG1 and add on, any help would be great.

With the 4 in 1 box set, I had to apply the TotSC patch before installing SOA & TOB.
Did you do that?

But yes you can run tutu from disc BG1 & GOG BG2, but you will still need to patch the disc version of TotSC to use TuTu.

Thanks, I succesfully installed BG1 and TofSC and the Patch, it then ran once, but now the CD doesnt seem to detect in the laptop, it does in an older pc that has many issues now that mean its not my gaming rig, So my install of BG1 is all expansion packed up and patched, but unloadable, and for some reason my TOB Cd is refusing to install TOB.

So if i buy GOG BG2 and use easytutu, will I Need a BG CD in the laptop as that seems to be my problem at the mo, my other problem been if I cant install BG2 TOB I cant use the Easytutu patch, hence my need to know if BG2 GOG will work. Thanks for the answer Olnorton

No you won't need the CD in to play with easy TuTu.
