I have accepted quest of rescuing that mage from the gnoll stronghold but i cant rest anymore since minsc goes mad and attack the party and havent found the entrance yet is it the area where you come too ogres and a hobgoblin? and a bridge where a man run into you saying it is chased by a bear?

if i gonna rest to regain spells for imoen he goes red and attacks my party.

Accepting Minsc into the party has put the gnoll stronghold area in the SW of your travel map. There you'll have to go.
You can try if dismissing Minsc and having him rejoin when you've freed his damsel in distress works. But there are better NPCs than Minsc anyway.

yeah i know but at this moment my party hasnt got a descent mage imoen i made multi class mage but she is rather weak at this point she is 1 lvl mage and lvl 2 mage. I got Xan in the party but is is rather useless since is colour spray mostly hit my party i gave him a sling but that makes his sword useless since he has low ac and low health.

yeah if you got a high rep they can turn against you since im cg and done some quests that my reputation is high

There should be a set of stairs leading upwards. Find pits and send a single character down into them. She'll be there

my charactrer is lvl 3 swarchbuckler Khalid his wive minsc, imoen and xan but imoen is useless atm since she is a mage thief.
