Hey guys, I have a serious problem with installing the Baldurs Gate Trilogy - Mod. I try to follow the usual guide.

But I just get as far as installing BGT-WeiDU. The process in this little black window crashes every time, because there seems to be a problem with a .bar file. (bar4800 to be specific).

I have Windows 10 so I´m afraid that this method doesn´t work anymore.

Can somebody help me?

I have absolutely no idea what you mean when you say "the usual guide", that means nothing. The golden rule when installing BGT is that you MUST have a completely virgin installation of BG1 original (NOT enhanced), and a likewise clean install of BG2. Many people make the mistake of applying patches and even mods before installing BGT. Don't!

Sorry about the "usual guide". There was a link in my original post,but it wasn´t allowed. If you google "baldurs gate trilogy gog" it´s the first one in the Google search. It is by gog.com themeselves.

I used "virgin" Versions. So it has to be something else.

No it isn't. It's by a forum user, just like yourself. Somebody posts a so-called guide and gets it stickied.

I did it. Saving under another partition did the trick. The game is on a USB-Stick now :-D
