I'm using the NPC mod and I'm doing Jaheira's quest in the Cloakwood.

Just killed beat Andarthe or however you spell his name correctly. He surrendered and left.

Maretha is not in the tree house though. Is there anyway I can resolve this?

As I remember it, you move on further into Cloakwood (other areas) to find the injured druid. Heal him and then return to the treehouse, and Maretha should be there.

Aye, I did that. Went back and there were the druids outside the house, but no one inside the house. I tried doing a clua command that set some variable to 20 to progress the quest but with no luck.

Ok, possible spoiler...

According to the readme:

On re-entry to the first map...
Andarthe spawns on 1600, Maretha on 1601 on X#JaheiraSen > 19, 20, or 22.
If Beador is alive, 20 is set by Andarthe's BCS to 23
If Beador is dead, 22 is set by Andarthe's BCS to 24

Now go attack Andarthe and kill him, then go to rescue Maretha.

All the shadow druids are dead. I have committed the grave crime of shadow druid genocide. I'll write out what I did in more detail.

-entered cloakwood forest
-got quest to rescue twiddle dee and twiddle dumb
-killed the arch druid in the tree house first
-then moved on and rescued Beador
-went back to the tree house
-slaughtered the druids outside, beat the guy who was outside with my BEAR hands (not to be confused with bare hands) until he surrendered
-let him go
-poked my head in the tree house and found it empty save for the smell of rotting arch druid

So you killed Andarthe before rescuing Beador? I'm not sure how the mod handles that, but have you tried spawning in Maretha via console -- again, not sure if that will work/behave. Her creature code is x#mareth, and she's expected to be in area 1601 (the Tree House ground floor).

Edit: personally, if it were me I'd walk away. If I make a mistake I live with it.

Might as well try it out. Do you know the specific command I have to enter?

Yeah, save first, then go into the treehouse and type in:

CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("X#MARETH")

Hickory: Yeah, save first, then go into the treehouse and type in:

CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("X#MARETH")
That surprisingly did the trick. I was worried the game would explode.

Spawned her in, she immediately started dialog as if she had always been there and everything was good to go. Turned in the quest and everything just to make sure.

Thanks :)
