Sometimes when I load a saved game I cannot select the members of my party. When I click on them they vocally respond but are not highlighted and I cannot control them. This has happened a few times and once it does that save keeps doing the same thing over and over again. I've already had to start the game over once from the beginning even though I was in Chapter 3 in BG1. I have Tutu installed and the widescreen mod, but the bug started occurring before Installed the widescreen.

Does keyboard selection work? No other mods besides that two mentioned?

Keyboard selection does work, I hadn't though to try it before. Those are the only two mods I have. I had loaded the same savegame numerous times and it worked fine, I have no idea why it stopped working.

Maybe the problem isn't with the game. Do you have any special mouse (wireless, custom drivers etc.)?

Possibly, I do have a wireless mouse. However, on one of my saves it let me select Khaleed with my mouse, but no other characters. I could go into the inventroy screen and look at the other character's inventories, but when I went back to the play screen the selection would revert back to Khaleed.

I had this problem and discovered if I used the keyboard to select the active character I could then select any character. I don't know why but it works.
