No. I even asked about it on the Beamdog forums. The 1.4 patch, I think it was, was pretty perfect. Then came the 2.0 patch and ruined the whole game.

I asked if they could put the unpatched game up on their site where the games are, and put the patches there individually. That way people could play the versions they want. I got several different replies to this.

1. The 2.0 patch is Beamdog's "vision" for the game or something like that.

2. It is too expensive to have the unpatched versions + the patched stored on their servers. Which is kind of BS. We are only talking about a few gigabytes all in all here.

So you are going to have to use the newest patch for the game. There is no way around it. You could play the classic version, I guess. But Beamdog has made sure you can only get that one IF you buy their EE version as well.
