Is there any way to solve this without resorting to an earlier save or violence?

I went into an inn and a guy attacked me, whilst I was kiting him and causing a bit of commotion, somehow the bartender/inkeeper got stuck inbetween me and the door and now wont budge an inch. Impossible to get around him.

I don't want to go to an earlier save because I quick saved immediately after killing the dude that attacked me, and before that save is about 2 hours of gameplay :/ I also don't want to kill the bartender because I'm playing a chaotic good hero, so I think killing random people will reflect badly on me, and my Roleplaying is a bit fucked too.

This'll be the third question I've posted here, thanks for all the help here GOG members :)

Is this BG1? I am presuming so. My best suggestion is to talk to the bartender, and ask for a room for the night. The transition from day/night to night/day may (just may) flip him back to his intended position. That is a stab in the dark, just so that you know. :)

Note: you 'could' charm him and move him yourself, but that runs the risk that he turns hostile, because Charm is a hostile spell.

Of course, the console is always available. Let's say you are in the Jovial Juggler in Beregost. Open the console and type:

CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR3300")

AR3300 is the area code for Beregost (external). So now you're outside. Go away and rest, and the bartender will likely be back where he should be.

Thanks again! I didn't think about the console, so I used that to teleport outside Beregost and sure enough he reset :)
