i cant find it anywhere. it clearly says that a key to the original is included under more > serial keys, but when i go there, it just has 1 game listed.. baldurs gate enhanced edition, and it says the key is depleted (which makes sense cuz i already installed the game)

where is the original version that i just payed for? how do i access it?

thanks
I don't have EE, but as far as I remember, you need to do that on the website, not in Galaxy.

thanks for the reply - unfortunately the website and galaxy produce the same result. the only key i have been given is the enhanced edition

send a ticket to support about it, if you don't see it under more -> Serial keys.

The More>Serials gives you a link to the redeem page, but it DOES say enhanced edition. This is wrong, but go to the redeem page and you'll get your game.

there is no link to any redeem page in my more>serials. as you can see here in this screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/nQ9kgfJ.png , the only thing it says under my more>serials is baldurs gate enhanced edition - serial keys depleted. presumably it "depleted" my enhanced edition key when i installed the game.

No, the game is separate, so installing the game does not deplete the key. It should be there until used. It seems as though you have used the key. If that is not the case you will have to wait for support to get back to you. It will not be today, being Sunday.

i never manually used any key. i bought the game on gog.com, i told it to install it via galaxy, then once the enhanced edition was installed i started hunting for my key to the original saga. the very first time i opened that more > serial keys page, it already looked exactly like it looks in the screenshot. 'baldur's gate enhanced edition - serial keys depleted'.

the original saga is not in my library, just the enhanced edition.

Then it must be a bug. Like I said, wait for support to get back to you. You may have to wait until Tuesday. GOG has skeleton crew on weekends and Monday is "busy-busy" day for them.

yep, seems so. pretty unfathomably stupid. i should have looked harder to find a copy of this game elsewhere before trusting GOG
For what it's worth, when GOG works correctly, the advice here is correct. I have BG 1 EE in my library. I never redeemed the Classic key. Where your screenshot shows "Serial keys depleted", my library shows a URL to the redemption page. I downloaded BG 1 EE through the website, not through Galaxy. This shouldn't make a difference though.

"Serial keys depleted" means that GOG simply need to add a new batch. The advice to await support stands.
