Anyone know which items carry over from BG to BG2, other than the Golden Pantaloons? Any useful weapons, armor or items? I'm playing without any mods. I tried looking for a list on the internet, but everyone only keeps talking about TuTu or the EE.

You can import 2 items, one from each list (armour and misc) below. If your imported character has none of the items listed, you will always get at least one item, denoted as [X] in the lists. If you have more than one item, the item higher up the list will be the one imported. The best items, in my opinion, are marked as *****.

Armour:
Leather Armour +2 "Protector of the Second"

Studded Leather Armor +2 "Missile Attraction" (cursed) [Only available with extra merchant from DudleyFix]

One last item of note - the golden pantaloons will always transfer if it's in your inventory. They're useless unless you get the other two items (one in SoA, the other in ToB), then you can make them into one nice, shiny easter egg.

On my SOA hardcopy, when I immediately enter the inventory of my main char, I was able to access what I had from BG. And drop it and pick it up afterwards :)

That's an exploit, not something intended. You can get stuff that's just as good pretty quickly, anyways.
