Is it possible to restore the original BG1 intro in BG:EE?

Despite its dated 90's 3D [2d rendered] appearance, it was a far better intro IMO, than the one in BG:EE.

(I just got BG:EE, and I've no idea if it still plays MVE video... The new clips look like they were done in Flash or Motion Artist.)

Ah yes I was wondering about this.

Does it work with 2.0 and up well? I know when the 2.0 update came around some mods were malfunctioning.
