Hey everyone,
So I dowloaded BG2 yesterday and am currently trying to install it, with no success.
Every time I try, the installation fails with an error message stating "An error occured while trying to replace the existing file:" and then it points to either baldur.exe or goggame.dll.
I tried installing it by right clicking and executing it as an admin, I turned off my firewall and anti-virus, as well as the windows User Account Control (which always asks if you really want to execute a certain file). I should also mention that the files passed the file integrity check, that the installer always does at the beginning. I also tried running it in compatibility mode, choosing windows xp service pack 3.
I have no idea what to do now. Could somebody help me?
