So, it seems that all IE games I have are messing up for me.

BG1: In BG1 the scrolling won't work right even on max scroll speed. Additionally, when I try to name myself the box is immediately filled with the number six.

In Planescape: Torment the cursor shoots off to the right and will not come back to the character. Also, just today the save game name box was being filled with numbers like in BG1.

Nothing I've read on GOG is helping me. In the case of the cursor shooting off, I'd read that happens often with wireless mice and such, but I use wired exclusively. The "best" answer I saw was that it "might start working eventually, it did for me."

This is getting really frustrating. Nearly have BG2 ready to install, but I wonder if it will work either. I can't play these games unless something changes. D:

Few things to mention first: I'm using Win XP SP3, only use wired mouse and keyboard (Logitech and Microsoft. No special drivers required), have up to date drivers for my nVidia card. I recently replaced my keyboard thinking it may have the problem, but I've seen no improvement in this situation.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

In BG1, I've both my keyboard & mouse control speed at like 25% mark on their respective bars. Works juss fine for me.

Dunno what to do about your problem in PS:T. Hopefully it works out for you. Perhaps your game juss crashed. That never happend to me w/my retail copies of the BG series, but it happens now & then w/my GoG BG1 & PS:T copies. A simple reload after the crash fixes the problem for me (though when my games crashed, I don't think it ever included the mouse shooting off).

My game hasn't actually crashed so far. Reloading a game half a dozen times seems kind of excessive...

Anyway, I just replaced my mouse and the cursor problem persists, and both problems also happen in Baldur's Gate 2. This is getting troublesome.
