If i play BG1 as a Human dual-class fighter - cleric and then import him to BG2, will he start as a fighter (single class), or as fighter/cleric?

Should be as a fighter/cleric, its not an illegal combination in BG2 so you should be right to use it

That's what I thought too,but wanted to make sure since OP had doubts too and asked basically the same thing. Got me thinking whether certain combinations were invalid, and if the character would be converted to a single class, for example. But, it's good to know there aren't restrictions like this. Thanks for answering.
