Hi guys, I'd like to do one large playthrough in the following order:

Baldur's Gate 1 -> Import my character to Baldur's Gate 2 -> Import same character to Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition -> Finally import that character to Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition

Is it at all possible?
I don't think so.

However, you could, I believe, import your BG2 character to TuTu or Trilogy. Note that you should not expect a challenge, especially when you can do things like use (Greater) Deathblow with Detonation Arrows. (Can anything in BG1 survive that?)
I was afraid of that, I thought importing a BG2 character to BGEE would work... Also I should have mentioned that I would use Nightmare Mode starting with BGEE.
What about creating a new character for Throne of Bhaal in the Enhanced Edition and then importing the character into BG1 EE? I don't know if that's possible either, but it's probably the best bet to get what you're looking for.

Edit a new character using Keeper to be identical to the one you finished the non-ee games with? I don't think bg:ee has higher level abilities though so you're probably boned.

Just because they're not obtainable doesn't mean they're not in the game. Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition has HLAs in the game data; they're just not obtainable without cheats or hacking. (Well, aside from Rangers getting Tracking automatically, of course.)
Hmm... I think I'll do a runthrough with a good aligned party through the original games, and an evil party through the EE games. I really want to experience both Baldur's Gate games as they were originally meant to be played.

Yes it's possible. Just play your games and export your character (as a .chr file) at the end of each game. When you start a new game, import that character file. Character files are universal through all BG games, though not backwards!

Also, does anyone know whether it's possible to import original Icewind Dale party members into the Enhanced Edition?

No it isn't. Original characters will crash the game if you try to import them.
You can build up a character in the Black Pits with huge amounts of high end gear and then import that char in BG:EE. You'll get to keep all your XP and Gear
