I just got this game from gog and want to know how you cheat in it (I don't intend to do so often but I would like to know how).

Go to your Documents/Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition
Make a backup copy of Baldur.lua just incase
Open Baldur.lua and add this line
SetPrivateProfileString('Program Options','Debug Mode','1')

Now you can open up the console in the game by pressing CTRL+SPACE

Engerek01: Go to your Documents/Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition

Are you sure the file is Baldur.lua? Because I searched the whole gog folder and the computer said no file by that name was found

The file is not in the GOG folder. As I said it is in your documents folder where you will find save games etc.

okay i admit i failed to read that ... but it isn't anywhere in my documents folder :(

Did you run the game? For Windows 7 the path is "Users/your_user_name/Documents/Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition"

Maybe run the game and make a save game.

Try starting a game, saving it, then go looking for the folder.
