Hi everyone

I have a macbook pro running 10.8 with an nvidia 650m gt and intel hd graphics 4000.

with either graphics card i get constant flickering and only partial view of the screen immediately upon boot up.

any thoughts on what it could be? icewind dale never worked, but bg2 worked a few times before suffering the same fate.

tried installing the cuda update for my nvidia card. tried forcing one or the other card. many restarts.

thanks!

greg
Try disabling hardware mouse (ini setting) and Vsync (graphics card control panel).
@Hickory

Where would you disable those two settings? I have the exact same problem.

I have no idea which version you guys are talking about, but the hardware mouse settings is for the enhanced version only. Find it in game options, graphics. The other is a video card control panel setting. Go to your video card control panel 3D settings and toggle VSync.
