Hi, this is my first try at starting BG2 and at the main screen i only get 2 options. The Shadows of Amn and Throne of Baal.

If i'm not mistaken these 2 are the xpacs released after the main game of BG2.

So since i have never played the game before and want to start from the very beginning, how is it that i can choose the main game of BG2 and not start from the xpacs?

Any help would be appreciated

Shadows of Amn is the main game and the first part, you should start there.
