Ok, so I'm stupid. But where do the contents of avatars.zip, artwork.zip, soundtrack.zip go in the BG2 directory structure?

Thanks,
Bob

I find mine in the GOG Downloads folder found in My Documents (not the directory the game is installed in).
Those don't go in the BG directory structure - they are extras for you to enjoy separately. The avatars can be used as your GOG avatar on the forums for example and the artworks just look nice and give you an idea on the concept work that went before the game etc.

Purely for interest/enjoyment - not used when playing the game - put them wherever you like :)

Edit for clarity (the portraits and music you get when playing the game are already in the directory structure so you don't need to add them in)
