Another game in the series of the other Baldur's Gate. To me it was a forgettable Diablo clone, but I've met others who really enjoy the game. This is something I just discovered. I'm not sure how to feel when something like this happens, should I be happy that I found it, or frustrated that it went under my radar? This looks like a reboot, but the wikipedia page says it's a spiritual successor. It will take place in Icewind Dale, and you'll play as Drizzt. It's apparently based on one of Salvatore's novels. There's also going to be multiplayer. Here is the trailer:

Let's see...models aren't terrible, but they're nothing to write home about, either. The animation in the trailer is really stiff. I've seen SFM and Blender projects more fluid than this. The camera in the trailer takes the most awkward angles, and it doesn't stay put for more than a second. The music isn't too shabby by itself, but it doesn't have a place in this setting. Alright so, when did the trailer come out, like...2009, maybe 2010?...(checks date). It was released last year...ruh-roh, Shaggy. Alright, well maybe it's not a sign of things to come. I'm not too hopeful ATM, but I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Maybe some gameplay footage will change my mind. What do you think? I'm getting really sleepy right now, apologies in advance for any errors.
