So I have been playing BG:EE having a blast. It told me it was syncing the saves in the cloud. I thought to myself: "This is great. Just like Stem Cloud Saves".

Expect it isn't - I have two computers, and I wanted to play on both of them. Well it turned out, that Galaxy can't handle that kind of pressure. When I went to play on a second computer, which is a little ride away from home, it turned out Galaxy wasn't been able to sync the latest save at all. Even though it said it synced everything.

So I'm guessing, when you first run a game on a different machine it's fine, because it just downloads the Saves from the cloud - but trying to keep it up-to-date is just too hard for Galaxy I guess, any discrepancy it finds, it just can't handle. It kept asking me if the files on the Cloud or the Computer were relevant, even though I clearly told to get the Saves from the cloud.

This doesn't compare well to Steam Cloud Saves system.

Any suggestions?

PS
I just don't understand what was the point of the system, if it can't do something as simple as syncing two computers to have the same Save files.

in windows you can add the saves directory to ONEDRIVE
in MAC OS you can add your Documents folder to ICLOUD
I think its a game by game thing, most my games don't have a problem, and I don't think BG2EE is too bad either, but I ALWAYS get sync failure notification on BGEE, it just doesn't work.

I juste noticed that I'm missing save file frome my BG2:EE game after trying to play on another computer... and it's october 2020
there is no clould save and never was

@juldc your save folder should be in my documents which defaults to C on most systems unless you moved it... also Beamdog folder is the default for your game files if you got the game from them instead of Gog [their copy of the game actually works well and is what i use \ recommend]
