Is there a way to upgrade this game from 2.1 to 1.3?

Ive been asking the same thing, luckily i was weird enough to copy my gog setup files for 1.3 for bgee 1 and 2, so im so lucky l, but since i paid gog for those versions and those are the ones i want, updates should be optional like the universal update they do, im not asking for a refund but this ypdate ruined what i paid for and i want the option to go back, especially in auch an update that chances every menu in the fame the graphics of the game and gameplay, i mean what the fuck beamdog thats a whole new game right there, now therea certain things i like, if they got rid of black screen bs and the mod compatibility, i could deal with the ugly new menus. But come on, and the fact beamdog wont release earlier versions and they are just experimenting with an unbroken game is jacked up

You need to install Galaxy. Then install the "A year ago" option.

I was not able to install the SCS2 mod without a clean install (wiped folder) of "a year ago". Dropping from 2.0 (clean) to 1.3 did not work with the mod.

I asked one of the Beamdog devs about this. They are going to add a toggle in an upcoming patch. So people can pick between the 2.0 patch sprites and the old ones. I was even shown a screenshot.
