Hi, I've attached a screenshot of what my issue looks like. This is also a problem in-game, as shown in the second attachment.

One possible reason for the problem may be that I used an existing Baldur's Gate 2 installation for Tutu, rather than fresh installation without any mods. I was running the widescreen mod on my BG2 file.

I installed these mods to my Tutu folder in the following order: mini quests and encounters, unfinished business, bg1 npc project, bg1 npc music, Xan/Coran/Ajantis friendship, Sirine's Call quest (meant to install before BG1NPC but I believe here is fine I forgot), Mur'Neth, tweakpack, scstratagems.

At this point I tested the game and it displayed the black bar problem. I then attempted to rectify it with the widescreen mod which unfortunately failed to install after repeated attempts. I also changed the nvidia graphics to scale to full screen but no luck.

I'd really appreciate any assistance!

Not 'possible'... definite. You must use clean installs, and ESPECIALLY no widescreen mod prior to TuTu. You will need to start again.

Cheers mate : )

One last question everything is running perfect now, but I noticed during installation of SCS that several components stated 'installed with warnings' - is this message harmless or is it possible some things had errors?

I got an 'installed with warnings for' AI enhancements: Smarter general ai

This was the specific error:

SFO: Applying patch<es> to CRE files<s> kobcomm...

ERROR: Not_found in apply_standard_function: inputs were func=set_proficiences, arguments=SHORTBOW => 2
ERROR: [_kobcomm.CRE] -> [override/_kobcomm.CRE] Patching Failed <COPY> <Not_found>
Stopping installation because of error.

Failed to patch _kobcomm.CRE; error message was Not_found

Could this be related to my setting of BG-style weapon proficiencies? That's just a guess.

The file '_Kobcomm.cre' is a TuTu copy of the BG1 creature file for Kobold Commando. If you are getting an error that it can't be found, that probably means one of two things:
1. The TuTu installation is faulty
2. SCS install script is faulty

I just looked in my TuTu override folder, and _kobcomm.cre is there. Check your override folder. If it's there, then the SCS script is suspect.
Yes it's there.

Guess what I went back to BG2 Tweaks and installed 'Rebalanced Weapon Proficiences' (instead of BG-styled), and then it automatically detected SCS and it worked!

I got a 'Smarter AI' successfully installed! And I closely followed where the error script came up and this time the kobcomm didn't appear :) I suspected it was a error relating to the weapon proficiency as I noticed that the only other error was from improved Durlag's due to a proficiency error. I also got successfully installed there! Hamster, friends everywhere, rejoice! :D
