Can anyone help me please? It seems that the 1.3 patch for Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition is live for Windows and the Linux version is now also available, but the Mac version doesn't seem to have been updated. Does anyone know when this will be available from GOG?

It doesn't appear to be up yet. This is my only complaint about GOG- there is no way for game developers to quickly roll out new content patches. Instead it has to go through a manual process on GOG's end where the game is packaged in a wrapper. This is unnecessarily time-consuming and fragile.

When Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition was released here, game files (music and player scripts) were missing in the Mac version. To be fair, this may not have been GOG's fault at the time, but it took approximately a week for a new build with all the files to go up, mainly because of the aforementioned manual process involved.

All in all, I still prefer to buy my games here rather than on Steam, but the roll-out process on GOG leaves something to be desired.

I'm also very interested in the Mac 1.3 patch availability. GOG please add the patch as soon as you can.

I know that Apple does some sort of test to ensure that updated games meet their standards. Does GOG have a similar process? Because if not, it's a bit puzzling why 1.3 for Mac would be available on Steam and Beamdog and not GOG.

I've submitted a formal wish to the GOG team to make patch roll-outs more timely. It won't let me post the link, but if you go to the Community Wishlist, click the "Features" tab and search for "automatic patch", you can upvote it.

tm87ma - I've upvoted your request. Thanks for submitting it. The process does seem to take an unnecessarily long time.

I've noticed that the (disc) file for BG2:EE is now numbered 2.1.0.6 (where before I think it was numbered 2.0.0.1?) which might mean that V.1.3 is finally available for Mac! I'm downloading it now but my download speed is subpar (being from down under) so perhaps you guys will be able to check it out before me and let me know if my suspicions are correct?
