Greetings,
I am at Spellhold in the dream sequence and I cannot get Bhaal to follow me into the keep. I've talked to Imoen already and tried every variation of every conversation I could to try to get him to follow. I've danced around him for hours to try to get him as close to the entrance as possible but to no avail. Any assistance/advice rendered would be greatly appreciated.

Go back to a save prior to meeting him, and then when you talk to him, choose the option that says "... catch me if you can", and then stay just ahead of him. Do NOT use potions of speed, or boots of speed. The apparition NEEDS to see you to follow you. The idea is to lure him back to Imoen -- he's invincible without her help.

Thank you for the reply. However, I had already tried that a few times. I have no problem getting him to the entrance of the keep. The only problem I really have is getting him to physically come inside the building. Sad times!

Hmm, I have heard of this bug, but never come across it. I don't know if there's a fix, either. But you could try spawning another copy of Bhaal inside the doorway (back up your save, and don't save over it, just in case). Open the console when you're inside the doorway, and type in:

CluaConsole:CreateCreature("ppbhaal")

This will spawn another copy, though I am unsure whether he will start the dialog again. Regardless, when he's hostile, move towards Imoen until she says "Now..."

I added:

Debug Mode=1

to the Baldur.ini file in order to enable the command console

CTRL+Shift opens the debug(command console)menu in game

I typed: CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("ppbhaal") ("CLUA" must be capitalized.)

Bhaal did spawn and once he did I was able to go through the dialogue options and I was able to complete the segment.
