I had been playing BG 1 EE for a fair bit today. I took a break, and clicked Update and Restart because there were some pending Windows Updates.
Post Update, everything looks normal in my system, no failed devices. But when I run the game I get:
LOADLIBRARY FAILED WITH ERROR 998: INVALID ACCESS TO MEMORY LOCATION.
I tried using the GOG repair tool, it update 1.6mb of files, but it still crashes. And I mean it crashes before anything is displayed.
