i need rtwp so hard... ...
I sincerely doubt it.

No. Get over it.
This is not gonna happen, for two reasons

i) Turn-based combat is Larian’s bread and butter.
ii) Most importantly, d&d is a turn-based game, and I doubt Wizards of the Coast would have licensed a BG3 with RTWP.
Would rather prefer RTwP exclusively over simple mod. Or at least an action RPG, since this studio used to make such in the past.
I would have preferred RTwP too, but it is what it is. Maybe Larian could have attempted to build in both modes for BG3, but their experience appears to be largely with TB games so I don't really blame them for sticking to what they know.
Hasn't Larian put out a RTwP mode for Original Sin 2?

Why would they? They abandoned their old fans.
I think they should. I actually prefer the system they use in BG3, but my little philosophy is that the user should have as many options as is viable in a particular game. I think being able to choose between TB and RTwP should be something that is implemented in the future.

so many that it doesn't matter what he chooses
yeah, right.

Hmm. I guess I was wrong. I do however vividly remember that a game implemented the real time with pause later on into their game. I just can't remember which one.
I fear that it is much harder to add RTwP to a game with TB-combat than vice versa and I fear that Larian wasn't thinking about RTwP for more than a second.

My only hope is that they don't turn the fights into a status effect/elemental overkill like in D:OS. I really hated that.

Maybe if somebody at some point in the future make an actual BG3 game.
They mentioned during their demo in the summer that implementing dnd with realtime was very hard, with how the dice is centered around everything it's understandable that accomodating real time with it would add too much load onto the engine , i think earlier installment on the franchise got away with it because dice roll was not as integral and engine and animation was still light.

To be technical, it is impossible since dnd is a turn-based game.
