This is a new one on me but someone in a live stream I'm watching just said its possible run Baldur's Gate II in the Ice Wind Dale II engine.

Can this really be done? I can find nothing online.

Mr Weimer run a project called Icewind Gate 2, it's not supported from a long time but the batches are still there so you can try it on your own.

I don't know about any other project like this.
