Hello guys, I'm playing Baldur's Gate 2 with mods and recently I have a problem: dialogue text missing. I noticed it when at a certain moment Minsc initiated a dialogue and then no text is shown in the dialogue box and when I tried to click a few times I checked on his inventory and found that Boo is gone, or rather, has transformed into something strange, and Minsc's Strength has significantly dropped to 10...! What is the cause of all this? Any solution? Thanks in advance.

What mods do you have installed (weidu.log would help), and have you been editing your saved games?

I've installed way many mods, the full list is as following:

Adalon's Blood, Ajantis, Unfinished Business, Back to Brynnlaw, Alternativees, V10, BG 2 fixpack-V10, Butchery v3.2, Dungeon Be Gone, KelseyV3, Keto SOA V4, Neht23, Eilistraee, Neh'taniel.

And nope I didn't edit my saved games.

Then would you please copy/paste the entire contents of your weidu.log here, because it looks like your mods are badly conflicting.

It's in your installation folder, and called weidu.log -- it's just a text file.

Well, there's a few of those mods I don't recognise, so I can't help on each individual compatibility. However, the install order seems to be arbitrary. With that in mind, I would suggest uninstalling each one, from the last back to the first (important), then reinstall them in the following order (back up your override folder and your save game folder first):

I can't guarantee that this will cure your existing problem, because your existing saved games will almost certainly contain some sort of unwanted effect from this issue. This will be a place to start, though. If it doesn't help, then you may have to start a new game, with your new install order. If that is the case, come back and I can help you with some tips on what to do first.

Thanks very much for your advice, however, I simply uninstalled the games and all the mods, and then installed the game again, with some well-recognized mods which I thought would be fully compatible with the game and I didn't encounter the problem again. :-)
