I need to run an older version of WeiDu for a particular mod. I know where to old versions, I just don't know how to run the mod "setup" with anything but the version already built into the mod. Anyone know what the command line would be?

just copy and rename the old weidu executable to the same naming format as the tp2 file, for example, setup-xmod.tp2 and setup-xmod.exe, all commands are in the other files, the exe is just weidu itself ... i'm not sure why you need to do this but in any case be aware that your newer weidu mods will auto-update the older ones, so run the older one first.

it's actually the reverse... the older ones will check to see if there's a newer one in the same directly and upgrade itself. If you want to run an older version, move all the newer exes out of that directory.

I'd be interested in knowing why a mod would not work on newer WeiDUs. I know that some modders like to state "incompatible with WeiDU > 185" because they have a problem with me and/or the rest of the modding community, but I am unaware of any mods that actually have problems with newer WeiDUs.
