Hello everybody!

I downloaded and installed it and had no problem.

However, when starting the game the screen goes white with some details in blue and green, so I can't see anything. My Laptop meets the recommended requirements and has up to OpenGL 3.0. And the game needs OpenGL 2.0 to work and that my Laptop already has.

What's happening?! Is the file corrupt or was the game programmed with the developer's ass?

Thanks in advance!

And here are some buggy screenshots of this expensive game made with the developer's ass!

Holy crap! My integrated graphics card supports OpenGL 3.0 and this game requires OpenGL 2.0! What the hell is happening?!

I'm using the latest version of the game and playing around with the graphical settings didn't help at all. In fact, it's impossible to see anything in this pixel mosaic.

If anyone can help I will be forever grateful!

I had the same graphics issue. Fortunately my notebook also has a discrete graphics card so I was able to play the game by forcing the notebook to default to the nVidia graphics card. My notebook is rather old though, having a 2nd generation Intel chip, but I've also seen the the same behaviour on a notebook with a 3rd generation Intel chip, so this game may currently have an issue supporting integrated graphics on older Intel CPUs at least.

Thanks for your response!

Really... It can only be an incompatibility with the integrated GPU. Something that shouldn't happen!

Anyway, this incopatibility is even strange, as any 8-year-old Intel integrated GPU or a little more has support for OpenGL 2.0 and above.

I hope developers (who claim to be experienced in developing games) will do something to fix this incompatibility.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is too good a game to be spoiled by bugs and weird compatibility choices when it comes to GPUs.

Cheers!
I come here to inform you that, strangely, Dark Alliance II works perfectly, except for the lag in the tutorial. Honestly, I don't know what these developers got up to with these games! Logically, the second game was not supposed to work on my system, or it was supposed to work like the first game. Anyway, I suggest that these games are emulated versions, this is the only explanation I have for such a technical disparity between them. Curious fact: The lag present only in the second game's tutorial is also present in the emulated version. These guys lost the source code of the games? Why didn't they make genuine versions for PC?! Answers: They lost the source code and didn't code the games genuinely for PC out of sheer LAZINESS! Emulation, developers???? Stop playing around in service. I wasted my time with these shitty emulations. I will keep playing these games on my PS2!

I apologize to GOG players for the rant.
But I couldn't contain myself in the face of such laziness of these developers! Developers, we are not clowns! In addition to charging dearly for these games... You coded these games with your ass and delivered garbage to us!!! I will continue to play Dark Alliance I and II on my old PS2.

Sorry GOG team and sorry players! That's all. Life goes on...
